Choose Your Journey

Most people remember the destination. SHIGEYOSHI is about everything that happens along the way.

  • A weather balloon drifting over Monument Valley at dusk.

  • Starlink satellites gliding silently across the sky over Valley of the Gods.

  • Wild donkeys standing in the road at Mexican Hat in the middle of the night.

  • An osprey rising out of a mountain lake and flying alongside the vehicle as if showing us the way.

  • A marmot standing watch over a rocky ridge in the Rockies.

  • Anticrepuscular rays stretching across an empty highway at sunrise.

  • A roadside honey stand in a Ouray (yoo-RAY) overlook with jars of fresh local honey.

  • A lavender farm in Oregon where the owner welcomed us after hours to photograph the Milky Way.

  • Fresh August snow at Mt. Rainier when we came for the stars.

  • A shaft of light piercing the darkness inside the Ape Cave lava tube.

The destination is only part of the journey. The moments in between are the ones you'll remember.

These are not foo-foo excursions.

SHIGEYOSHI journeys are built for women who want the real thing. That may mean early mornings to catch the light, late evenings under the stars, or an occasional dirt road to reach somewhere worth it.

You will not be pampered — no bag carrying, no cocktail service, no itinerary designed around comfort. You will be present. And you will go home with something no one can take away.

Milky Way nights possible on select dates. Weather dependent.
