1. About SHIGEYOSHI

SHIGEYOSHI offers small-group travel companion experiences for women 45+, limited to 2–3 guests per Journey. We are not a tour operator in the traditional sense — SHIGEYOSHI provides a curated, semi-remote travel companion experience, not guided transportation or an all-inclusive package.

2. Guest Eligibility

Guests must be 45 years of age or older. Each Journey requires a minimum of 2 confirmed guests to operate.

3. Booking Process & Payment

Booking requires a signed Participant Agreement and a 25% deposit. This deposit is fully refundable within 14 days of booking; after that, it becomes non-refundable. Final payment is due no later than 90 days before departure. Bookings close 60 days before departure.

4. Cancellation Policy

• More than 90 days before departure: Deposit forfeited; remaining payments refunded, or reschedule to a different Journey.

• 60–90 days before departure: 50% refund.

• Less than 60 days before departure: No refund.

No refunds for no-shows or trips cut short. All refunds are issued to your original method of payment. If the 2-guest minimum isn't met, you may pay the 2-guest rate solo, reschedule, or receive a full refund.

Family emergency? Reach out via email — we'll consider rescheduling or refund options on a case-by-case basis.

If SHIGEYOSHI must cancel or reschedule for reasons beyond our control (unsafe conditions, weather, closures, host emergency, etc.), you'll receive a full refund of SHIGEYOSHI payments or the option to reschedule. SHIGEYOSHI is not responsible for outside costs — including airfare, lodging, or independently booked activities. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

All cancellation, reschedule, and refund requests must be submitted in writing via email.

5. Participant Agreement & Health Disclosure

Before departure, every guest must sign a Participant Agreement, Assumption of Risk, and Liability Waiver, and complete a confidential Health Disclosure form. These documents contain important information about the risks of travel, participant conduct expectations, and liability terms, and are provided at time of booking.

6. Photography & Media

SHIGEYOSHI may photograph or film guests during a Journey for use in marketing and promotional materials. Full terms, including the option to opt out, are provided in the Participant Agreement.

7. Location Confidentiality

Stewardship of the places we visit is core to SHIGEYOSHI. Well-known, publicly recognized destinations may be shared or tagged. Lesser-known or off-the-beaten-path locations may not be publicly disclosed, geotagged, or published. Full terms are provided in the Participant Agreement.

8. Website Use

All content on this website — including text, images, and photography — is the property of SHIGEYOSHI, LLC and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission. This website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

9. Limitation of Liability

These Terms & Conditions do not replace or limit the terms of the signed Participant Agreement, which governs the assumption of risk and liability waiver for each Journey.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Galveston County, Texas.

11. Changes to These Terms

SHIGEYOSHI may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of this website or a future booking constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
